Judith Vergara García is a figurative contemporary artist.  She was born on May 30 at five thirty close to the Callao's sea in Peru.  Inspiration for her work comes from loneliness, black and white photography, life and death.  Her images depict our inexorable journey of mortality viewed through her imaginative lens.

Judith's figurative oil paintings represent a timeless woman in search of immortality in surreal settings.  Her emotive portraiture reflects the vulnerability of woman facing an inescapable timeline.  These figures are fertile, fragile, and unable to conceal their fears and desires.  The natural and animal elements within her pieces create a connection between the earthly and spiritual world.

Judith Vergara García has taken part in group exhibitions in Spain, Unite States, Chile, Mexico, Cuba, Colombia and Germany.  She has had solo shows in Miami and Lima, Perú.  Her work has been featured in publications in Perú and Spain.  Currently, she is developing her personal art projects.
